Intermediate Climate
 
Nepenthes (veitchii x lowii) x platychila BE3920 was first introduced April 2018 by Borneo Exotics. The female parent, N. veitchii x lowii, is a remarkable robust plant, which produces huge pitchers which have caught small rats in the BE nurseries, probably because it exudes nectar from the underside of the lid (as the photo of the female parent shows). The male parent is N. platychila with its unrivalled wide flat peristome.
