This highly spectacular cross is particularly rewarding, as it’s easy to grow and produces large showy pitchers with gorgeous peristomes. The photos show examples of  intermediate and upper pitchers. Unlike many Nepenthes, the upper pitchers seem to remain just as colourful as the lowers.  
The female parent is a selected clone of our amazing giant N. spectabilis, sold under BE-3178 and the male parent is a selected clone of the Bario form of N. veitchii, sold under BE-3205. This item differs from BE-3636 released in Aug 2014, in that it’s from a different grex of seeds using a different male parent.
