This is a natural hybrid, sometimes seen in habitat amongst colonies of Nepenthes inermis. This is a dwarf naturally occurring hybrid, with dark attractive pitchers. The photos show lower, intermediate and upper pitchers from this actual clone, which was selected as the best of two for its exceptionally dark lower pitchers.
